Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Investigation Package

SAR 699

infectious factors that may be associated with recurrent pregnancy loss or pregnancy complications. This panel includes important serological tests for Toxoplasma gondii, Rubella, and Cytomegalovirus (CMV) to help healthcare providers assess previous immunity, recent infections, and potential risks before or during pregnancy

Tests Included in the Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Investigation Package

Toxoplasma gondii IgG

This test measures Toxoplasma IgG antibodies to determine whether you have developed immunity from a previous Toxoplasma infection. Knowing your immune status is important when planning pregnancy or during prenatal care.

Toxoplasma gondii IgM

This test detects Toxoplasma IgM antibodies, which may indicate a recent or active Toxoplasma infection. Early identification is important because infection during pregnancy may affect the developing fetus.

Rubella IgG

The Rubella IgG test determines whether you have protective immunity against rubella (German measles). Confirming immunity before pregnancy helps reduce the risk of congenital rubella syndrome.

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) IgM

This test detects CMV IgM antibodies, which may indicate a recent or active Cytomegalovirus infection. Clinical interpretation should be based on laboratory findings and medical evaluation.

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) IgG

The CMV IgG test identifies previous exposure to Cytomegalovirus and helps determine whether immunity has developed following past infection.

Rubella IgM

This test detects Rubella IgM antibodies, which may indicate a recent or active rubella infection and may be recommended when recent exposure or infection is suspected.
